  The Old Stables was a superb choice as accommodation for a large group. We particularly enjoyed the large dining area and the communal living room for board games. Despite the fact there was 21 of us, the layout of the cottage made us feel like we had plenty of personal space and there was numerous bathroom facilities. The accommodation was clean and tidy and I would fully recommend it to a large party. Lyndhurst itself was a great base for kayaking, cycling, country walks (in particular Boltons Bench) and also for a pleasant drive to the beach. We discovered more than a handful of local pubs which complemented the English countryside which we set out to find.
